- Expression of Interest are invited for Regulatory Framework Assessment for Renewable-Based IPPs and PPPs. The study aims at supporting the efforts of the Government of Guinea-Bissau to increase electricity supply and access by creating an enabling environment for private sector investments in renewable-based power generation. The regulatory framework review would help identify potential business models to attract private developers and operators while guaranteeing an equitable and fair access to electricity. The analysis will identify key gaps in the regulatory framework for the development of public-private partnerships (PPP) and independent power producers (IPP) and will provide recommendations to maximize private investments in the power sector, including proposals for regulatory amendments and support for preparation of standard power purchase agreements (PPAs).
